Over the last twenty years I have transformed my photographs from the real and objective to the abstract and non-objective. This new series is based on photos of textured shades from the fifth-floor windows of the Whitney Museum. Transformed in Photoshop, the shades are no longer recognizable and now assume a new life reminiscent of abstract sculptural or life forms.
